G&F Family Farms

Two local families make up the farming operation here at G&F Family Farms, the Goist family and the Flinner family. The two main people who started the operation are Jack Flinner and Kyle Goist.

Jack started farming at the age of 16, making hay and raising animals on 60 acres. Jack takes pride in focusing on the hay production asepect of the farm.

Kyle started farming at the age of 17, raising row crops such as corn and soybeans. Kyle focuses on the grain side of the farm.

Both of them together maintain and focus on the hog operation as well, growing the amount of hogs we raise every year.

We were both farming on our own for a few years, until we both needed help and equipment from one another. At this point we were helping each other out quite often. We decided we wanted to start raising hogs, and together, we formed G&F Family Farms LLC. We have been growing quickly since then!

We couldn’t do any of this without the great help from our family and friends either! Everyone has always wanted to see us succeed, and has been more than willing to help us along the way.
